Understanding Skin Types: Dry, Oily, Combination, and Sensitive

Skin type determines how your skin behaves and how it responds to skincare products. Using products designed for the wrong skin type can lead to irritation, breakouts, or chronic dryness.

Dry Skin
Dry skin produces insufficient oil, leading to tightness, flaking, and a rough texture. It often feels uncomfortable after cleansing and benefits from richer hydration and barrier-supporting care.

Oily Skin
Oily skin produces excess sebum, resulting in shine and enlarged pores. While oil production is high, oily skin can still be dehydrated, making lightweight hydration essential.

Combination Skin
Combination skin shows characteristics of both dry and oily skin, usually with an oily T-zone and drier cheeks. Balanced care is key to avoid over-drying or overloading oil-prone areas.

Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin reacts easily to fragrance, alcohol, or environmental factors. Redness, itching, and burning sensations are common. Gentle, minimal routines are most effective.
